But what's the science behind it?

The oil in Cedrus atlantica contains sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, a group of chemicals emitting a persistent “dirty-woody, resinous, urinous” scent. These compounds make up 70% of cedrus atlantica oil and play a key role in deterring moths.

The real culprits are the moth larvae, not the adults. This is because adult moths don’t consume fabric, but they lay eggs there. Once hatched, newborn larvae munch away through your sweaters & socks. They like dark, warm spaces and so nestle in the corners of folded clothes.

Our moth balls will keep these culprits away. Order yours today!
